i can't believe how much i've neglected my xanga. i just like facebook more i guess. it takes more time to sit and write something long on xanga. but i do like reading my friends' writings, i like to read more than write i guess. well, hope all is well in the xanga world.

little bunny foo-foo

yum, ate some tasty rabbit today. it really brought me full circle though because the last time i ate rabbit was the first time i met darry's parents and it seems so long ago. i feel so much a part of his family that it seems like its always been this way. they had me up singing kareoke and i would have never done that in front of strangers, but i've always felt very comfortable around his family. there is also a sadness because i met this man charles the first time i met darryl's parents and he was one of the kindest, southern men i had ever met. everytime i ran into him it was like we were old friends and he always spared a minute to ask me how i was doing and about my family. he died this summer but i will always think of him when i eat rabbit or think of one of the nicest people i've ever known.

so interactive. i went to a workshop today for Dr. Jean Feldman- boy was that more fun than being in my classroom! if you are a teacher or would like to check out what she does go to http://www.drjean.org to go see for yourself.

anyways, i'm sick and feeling like taking sleeping pills so i don't wake up the whole night having to blow my nose. i got medicine yesterday but it hasn't gone into effect yet....bah humbug. i'm glad i've already done 95% of my christmas shopping and wrapping because i really don't feel like doing anything except staring at a wall. or t.v.

thanksgiving was alright, could've been better. darryl and i left his parents' house early to go to our friend's mom's house. we ended playing the video game "ultimate alliance" which featured different comic book heroes that worked together to solve puzzles and such. when they let darryl and i play we ended up going in circles and not accomplishing anything for about an hour! haha! oh well. then we watched "you, me, and dupree" for the second time, funny once again. my pumpkin "cheesecake" turned out well. hope everyone had a good one!
